NON-APPLICATION.
Storage, Display, Transportation & Antique Firearm rules do not apply when firearms lawfully used or handled for:
Hunting.
Target shooting.
Courses in safe handling and use.
Controlling predators.
Storage.
Non-restricted.
Unloaded.
Choice 1.

- Container, receptacle or room, securely locked and constructed so that it cannot readily be broken open or into

Cartridges that are capable of being discharged from the non-restricted firearm cannot be displayed with or readily accessible to the non-restricted firearm.
WITH RESTRICTED FIREARMS ON DISPLAY IN DWELLING HOUSE
Cartridges that are capable of being discharged from the restricted firearm cannot be displayed with or readily accessible to the restricted firearm.
WITH RESTRICTED FIREARMS ON DISPLAY ELSEWHERE
Cartridges that are capable of being discharged from the restricted firearm cannot be readily accessible to the restricted firearm.
Cartridges that are capable of being discharged from the restricted firearm can only be displayed with the restricted firearm if they are displayed in a locked case or container that cannot readily be broken open.
WITH NON-RESTRICTED & RESTRICTED FIREARMS DURING TRANSPORT, NOT IN VEHICLE, IN ATTENDED VEHICLE, IN VEHICLE UNATTENDED.
Cartridges cannot be loaded in the firearm.
No other regulations.
Handling.
Loading
You may load a non-restricted or restricted firearm only in a place where it may be discharged in accordance with federal and provincial Acts and regulations and municipal by-laws.
Predator Control.
Non-restricted.
Reasonably required for predator control.
In area where it can be fired.

- Not visible from outside the vehicle & the vehicle or part containing the firearm is securely locked.
Antique Firearms.
Store, display or transport.
Unloaded.
Transport in unattended vehicle.
If there is a trunk or similar compartment;
- In the securely locked trunk or similar compartment.
If there is not a trunk or similar compartment;
- Not visible from outside the vehicle & the vehicle or part containing the firearm is securely locked.
If handgun.
- Locked case or container (opaque) that cannot readily be broken open or into or accidentally opened during transportation.
Trigger lock.
A secure locking device that can only be opened by a key, card, or combination and that when applied to the firearm, prevents it from being discharged.
Attended vehicle.
Under the direct supervision of a person who is 18 or over or who has a minor's permit.
Unloaded.
No cartridge in breech or firing chamber.
No cartridges in magazine attached to or inserted into the firearm.
